<p>This study is about "The Behavior and Motivation of Angkringan Children in Gambling (Case Study in Laweyan Village)." The research aims to identify and analyze the behavior and motivation of children working at angkringan (street food stalls) in relation to their involvement in gambling activities in Laweyan Village. The study employs a case study approach to gain a deep and comprehensive understanding of the various social and psychological factors influencing children's engagement in gambling. Data collection was carried out through detailed participant observation, in-depth interviews with various relevant parties, and analysis of pertinent documents.The findings reveal that economic factors are the primary drivers for children to engage in gambling, with urgent financial needs compelling them to seek alternative income sources. The social environment also plays a significant role, particularly in terms of peer influence and community norms that do not strongly condemn gambling activities. The lack of supervision and attention from parents further reinforces children's involvement in these activities.The study concludes that holistic and coordinated interventions from the government, educational institutions, and social organizations are crucial in addressing this issue.</p>Susiyati NingsihLailatul FarihahBenny Prasetya

<p>This research aims to analyze the determination of educational unit costs at MTs Muslimin Bojong Picung by applying the Activity Based Costing (ABC) method. This research is important to evaluate the correspondence between applied and actual costs and find potential cost allocation improvements. This type of research is descriptive with a quantitative approach, using data obtained through interviews, documentation and observation. The data analysis method used is quantitative descriptive analysis to explain the unit costs of education. The research results show that the unit costs produced using the ABC system are higher than the education costs set by the madrasah. This finding indicates the existence of undercosting, namely a situation where the actual costs are lower than the estimates produced by the ABC method. Contributing factors include costs that are not detailed or well identified as well as costs that are not charged to students by the madrasah. This research provides insight into inaccurate cost estimates and recommendations for improvements in education cost management.</p>Ali MursyidAra Hidayat

<p>Mathematics has an important role in the world of education, but education in Indonesia in mathematics cannot be said to be good. This is in accordance with the PISA 2022 results that Indonesia has experienced an increase in ranking by 5-6 positions but is still at the bottom of other countries in mathematics ability. Learning mathematics is still considered difficult and unpleasant by students, causing low learning outcomes. Using the guided inquiry learning model could be a solution because it can attract students and better understand students' understanding of learning concepts. The main aim of this research is to determine the effect of the guided inquiry learning model on student learning outcomes. This research uses a quantitative pre-experimental design approach in the form of one group pretest & posttest. The research sample was 21 students. The data collection technique in this research used a written test. The results of the data analysis that had been carried out showed that the average value before treatment was given was 33.33 Meanwhile, the average after the treatment was given was 67.52. The paired sample t test results obtained were Sig. <p><em>Effective integration of technology in education hinges upon teachers' perception, readiness, and pedagogical skills despite its diverse tools and platforms for interactive learning and accessing resources. The study assessed the current level of technology adoption and utilization among social studies teachers in Osun State, investigated the correlation between their perceived effectiveness and students' academic achievement, and identified influencing factors. The descriptive survey research design was adopted in the study. A sample of 144 teachers was used through the multi-stage sampling procedure. A self-developed instrument titled Perception of Teacher's Technology Adoption Questionnaire (PTTAQ) and student exam records in Social Studies were used as research instruments for data collection. The Cronbach Alpha estimate of the PTTAQ was 0.86. Data collected were analysed using appropriate descriptive and inferential statistics. The result showed that the level of adoption is moderate (mean = 2.48, S.D=1.48), and utilization is moderate (mean = 2.46, S.D=1.37). Also, results show there is no correlation between teachers’ perceived effectiveness of technology adoption and students' academic achievement in social studies (r = -.081, p > .05). The perceived factors influencing teachers' attitudes toward technology adoption are technology self-efficacy, attitudes toward change, school culture and support, development and training opportunities on technology, perceptions of effectiveness, time and resource constraints. The study concluded that there were mixed perceptions of technology adoption among social studies teachers due to moderate levels of adoption and utilization. <p>Religious-related social conflicts that occur in several regions in Indonesia have damaged the joints of humanity. This study aims to design PAI Learning Design that focuses on strengthening religious tolerance in SMA Negeri 1 Kedamean, especially in class 11, even the semester with the material ‘Religious Tolerance’. The research used a qualitative method with a case study approach, in which data were obtained from primary and secondary sources through observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and verification, while data validity is tested by triangulation. The results show that religious tolerance education must be given early to foster an open attitude and maintain harmony between religious communities. This learning design is divided into three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation, involving students in collaborative projects and hands-on research. This implementation can improve students’ understanding of tolerance as a tool to unify the nation. This research contributes to the development of tolerance-based PAI learning methods that are relevant in the era of multiculturalism and have a significant impact in minimizing intolerant attitudes among students.</p>Lusia Mumtahana

<p>Bullying in Islamic boarding schools is a worrying phenomenon because it contradicts the main mission of Islamic boarding schools in shaping the character of students with noble morals. Although Islamic boarding schools are known as educational institutions based on religious values, bullying practices are still found in verbal, physical, and psychological forms. This study aims to examine how the internalization of Islamic boarding school values, particularly the trilogy and five awarenesses, plays a role in shaping an Islamic boarding school environment free from bullying practices. This study employs a qualitative approach, specifically a case study design, at the Nurul Jadid Islamic Boarding School. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation, involving Islamic boarding school administrators, foster parents, students, and regional heads as key informants. The findings show that open communication, sharing activities, daily sermons, and a spiritual-based reward and punishment system effectively shape the character of students who are empathetic and anti-violent. The contribution of this study lies in the development of a new perspective on preventing bullying based on religious values that is contextual and applicable in Islamic education. <p>This study aims to analyse the influence of principals' managerial skills, organizational climate, and work motivation on the effectiveness of school management, examining both partial and simultaneous effects. The research employed a quantitative approach with a correlational method. The population consisted of 213 teachers, and a sample of 139 teachers was selected using Slovin’s formula and proportional random sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analysed using descriptive statistics and both simple and multiple linear regression analyses. The prerequisite tests included normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and linearity tests. The results indicate that the principal's managerial skills have a significant partial effect on school management effectiveness, accounting for 68.9% of the variance. Organizational climate contributes 69.0%, and work motivation has a significant influence of 68.6%. Simultaneously, managerial skills, organizational climate, and work motivation have a significant impact on school management effectiveness, contributing 72.6%. <p><em>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan desain pendidikan karakter berbasis nilai-nilai pesantren melalui pengelolaan tiga kecerdasan manusia: spiritual, intelektual, dan emosional. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah kemerosotan karakter generasi muda Indonesia yang menuntut pendekatan pendidikan karakter yang holistik dan kontekstual. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur dengan teknik analisis konten terhadap teori-teori kecerdasan dan praktik pendidikan karakter di perguruan tinggi Islam berbasis pesantren. Temuan utama yang mengejutkan adalah kemampuan integrasi tiga kecerdasan manusia dalam pembelajaran, manajemen institusi, dan kegiatan kemahasiswaan yang secara sistemik memperkuat internalisasi karakter mahasiswa. <p><em>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh lingkungan kerja, budaya organisasi, dan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kepuasan kerja guru SMK Negeri di Kota Pekalongan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode explanatory research. Sampel berjumlah 130 guru PNS yang dipilih secara proporsional acak dari total populasi sebanyak 193 guru. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan kerja, budaya organisasi, kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, dan kepuasan kerja guru berada dalam kategori cukup baik. Secara parsial, lingkungan kerja memberikan kontribusi sebesar 27,2%, budaya organisasi 52,4%, dan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah 35,4% terhadap kepuasan kerja guru. Secara simultan, ketiga faktor tersebut memberikan kontribusi sebesar 56,1%. Penelitian ini menyarankan agar sekolah menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang nyaman secara fisik maupun nonfisik, menerapkan budaya sekolah yang adil dan konsisten, serta meningkatkan kualitas kepemimpinan melalui pelatihan dan perencanaan kerja. Upaya tersebut sangat penting untuk memotivasi guru, meningkatkan kinerja, dan menciptakan budaya kerja yang positif. <p><em>This study explores the role of religious leaders in promoting Islamic education and fostering community harmony, particularly in communities where social norms and religious values are not widely upheld. As moral role models and spiritual guides, religious leaders are crucial in addressing behavioural issues and raising religious awareness within society. The research uses a quantitative approach, with simple linear regression analysis using SPSS software to examine the relationship between religious leadership and the development of Islamic education. The analysis reveals that 64.9% of the variance in the development of Islamic education can be attributed to the influence of religious leaders, while other factors influence the remaining 35.1%. These findings indicate that religious leaders can significantly impact educational outcomes through guidance and active community engagement. <p>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, komitmen organisasi, dan komunikasi efektif terhadap kepuasan kerja guru di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) Se-Kecamatan Kedungwuni, Kabupaten Pekalongan. Latar belakang penelitian ini berfokus pada pentingnya tiga faktor tersebut dalam menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang kondusif bagi peningkatan kinerja dan kepuasan guru. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode explanatory research. Sampel yang digunakan terdiri dari 82 guru dengan teknik sampel jenuh. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komitmen organisasi, komunikasi efektif, dan kepuasan kerja guru berada dalam kategori "cukup", sedangkan gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah berada dalam kategori "baik". Berdasarkan analisis regresi linier berganda, secara parsial, gaya kepemimpinan berkontribusi sebesar 75,9%, komitmen organisasi 74,4%, dan komunikasi efektif 77,1% terhadap kepuasan kerja guru. Secara simultan, ketiga faktor tersebut memberikan kontribusi sebesar 84,1% terhadap kepuasan kerja guru. Kategori "cukup" pada komitmen organisasi dan komunikasi efektif mengindikasikan perlunya peningkatan dalam pengelolaan kedua faktor ini. Penelitian ini menyarankan agar sekolah memperbaiki pengelolaan tugas sesuai kewenangan dan tanggung jawab guru, serta memperkuat pembinaan, pengawasan, dan evaluasi untuk menginternalisasi nilai-nilai dan etika kerja yang tinggi. Selain itu, penting untuk membangun komunikasi yang lebih efektif antara pihak sekolah dan guru, serta memberikan penghargaan yang sesuai dengan kompetensi guru, termasuk insentif di luar gaji. <p>This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in swimming skills through the section method approach. The subjects of the study were students of the Physical Education, Health, and Recreation Study Program, Pattimura University, Ambon in 2024. This study used a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design with two action cycles. Data collection instruments included observation and performance tests of basic freestyle swimming technique skills assessed using a standardized assessment rubric. The results showed that the application of the section method approach contributed significantly to improving student learning outcomes. In cycle I, the learning completion rate reached 65%, where 14 out of 20 students successfully met the completion criteria. After improvements and optimization of the approach in cycle II, the completion rate increased to 100%, indicating that all students achieved the set successful standards. This increase reflects the effectiveness of the section method in improving students' basic swimming technique abilities. With the achievement of success indicators in cycle II, this study concludes that the section method can be used as an alternative effective learning strategy in developing students' basic swimming technique competencies. These findings are expected to be a reference for lecturers and physical education practitioners in optimizing the learning process, especially in water sports.</p>Jonas Solissaa

<p>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh profesionalisme, budaya organisasi, dan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap mutu sekolah di SMK Negeri Kabupaten Pekalongan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode explanatory research. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 130 guru PNS yang dipilih secara proporsional random sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa profesionalisme, budaya organisasi, kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, dan mutu sekolah berada dalam kategori cukup baik. Secara parsial, profesionalisme memberikan kontribusi sebesar 12,1%, budaya organisasi 43%, dan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah 33,5% terhadap mutu sekolah, yang mengindikasikan bahwa faktor budaya organisasi memiliki pengaruh terbesar. Secara simultan, ketiga faktor tersebut memberikan kontribusi sebesar 49,8% terhadap mutu sekolah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disarankan agar sekolah meningkatkan profesionalisme guru melalui pelatihan berkelanjutan, supervisi yang konstruktif, dan penghargaan atas kinerja guru. Selain itu, budaya organisasi perlu dibangun secara positif dengan pembiasaan nilai-nilai kedisiplinan, tanggung jawab, dan inovasi di lingkungan sekolah. <p>Perkembangan media sosial telah secara signifikan mengubah cara penyebaran ajaran Islam, di mana nilai-nilai keislaman semakin mengalami komodifikasi melalui berbagai platform digital. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana komodifikasi tersebut terjadi serta implikasinya terhadap pendidikan Islam. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi pustaka, penelitian ini menyintesis berbagai sumber akademik terkait digitalisasi Islam, monetisasi dakwah, dan pergeseran otoritas keagamaan di era digital. Hasil kajian menunjukkan beberapa bentuk komodifikasi yang konkret. Pertama, <strong>monetisasi konten dakwah</strong> terjadi melalui platform seperti <strong>YouTube dan TikTok</strong><strong>,</strong> di mana para pendakwah memperoleh penghasilan dari iklan, donasi, fitur langganan berbayar, serta penyediaan konten religius eksklusif yang hanya bisa diakses pengguna tertentu. Kedua, <strong>selebritisasi ulama</strong> tampak dari bagaimana sebagian tokoh agama membangun personal branding dan pengaruh berbasis jumlah pengikut, dengan menyusun konten yang berorientasi pada daya tarik massa, seringkali mengorbankan kedalaman teologis. Ketiga, <strong>simbol-simbol Islam digunakan dalam industri fashion dan gaya hidup</strong>, misalnya penggunaan desain hijab, kaligrafi Arab, atau kutipan ayat Al-Qur’an dalam produk pakaian, seringkali tanpa disertai pemahaman atau konteks keagamaan yang memadai. Praktik-praktik ini mendorong terjadinya penyederhanaan ajaran Islam, dengan menitikberatkan pada aspek visual dan interaksi digital, alih-alih substansi akademik dan spiritual. Selain itu, tren ini juga mengubah cara masyarakat menilai kredibilitas keagamaan, dari yang sebelumnya berbasis sanad keilmuan menjadi berbasis popularitas digital seperti jumlah pengikut dan tingkat engagement. Melihat fenomena ini, kajian ini menekankan pentingnya penguatan <strong>literasi digital keislaman</strong> agar peserta didik mampu mengevaluasi dan memverifikasi informasi Islam secara kritis. <p>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan menganalisis penerapan pendidikan moderasi beragama di SMP Budi Bahasa, sebuah sekolah menengah pertama multikultural di Indonesia. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, analisis dokumen, dan studi pustaka, penelitian ini menggali bagaimana nilai-nilai moderasi beragama diintegrasikan dalam kurikulum, budaya sekolah, dan interaksi sehari-hari antara siswa dan guru. Prinsip utama seperti tawassuth (sikap tengah), i’tidal (keadilan), tasamuh (toleransi), dan la’unf (anti kekerasan) tercermin dalam rencana pembelajaran, perayaan hari besar keagamaan yang inklusif, serta program ekstrakurikuler yang mendukung keberagaman. Meskipun demikian, tantangan muncul pada interaksi informal siswa, khususnya kecenderungan membentuk kelompok eksklusif berdasarkan latar belakang agama atau budaya. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, sekolah menjalankan program diskusi lintas agama dan proyek bersama, serta memperkuat peran guru dalam membimbing siswa menghadapi stereotip dan intoleransi. Dampaknya adalah terciptanya lingkungan belajar yang inklusif dan harmonis. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi praktis dengan menawarkan model penerapan moderasi beragama yang relevan untuk sekolah multikultural serta menekankan strategi konkret mengatasi tantangan sosial demi membentuk peserta didik yang toleran dan berwawasan kebangsaan.</p>Insan AlhafizhDede Setiawan
